How to Place an Order

Before proceeding with your payment, we would like to gather some information from you. Please send your personal and company details to our email address: info@dmkstone.com. We require the following information for background check:

Your name, address, contact information, and email

Company name, address, owner name, AP name, sales name, and PST number (if applicable)

We currently offer delivery services to customers in the Metro Vancouver area only. Customers from other areas (including outside British Columbia) will have to arrange their own pick-up.

 

We would like to know why you need to make a direct purchase. Please note that our products are semi-finished or raw materials and do not include cutting and installation services. If you are a residential customer, you cannot purchase raw materials directly from us. You will need to contact your fabricator to determine if you need to purchase from us directly.

 

Once we determine the type of customer you are, we will send you an invoice for the products you wish to purchase. We will require your credit card number to complete the purchase.

 

If you, as a builder or contractor, plan to purchase materials yourself, please communicate with your corresponding fabricator shop in advance and let them know that you will be procuring directly from us. We need to know approximately when we can arrange delivery and whether your corresponding factory allows us to deliver. Also, if you need us to keep the materials in our warehouse for a certain period of time after you have made the payment, we will charge a stocking fee.

Please note: Our porcelain product requires at least a 3-ton forklift or a pickup truck with an A-frame for transportation. The average weight of one piece of porcelain is about 350bls for 12mm 126" x 63" and 175bls for 6mm 126" x 63". If crane service is needed at the job site, our pick up truck can only carry a maximum of 7 slabs of 12mm porcelain 126" x 63" at a time. The driver will not assist withe unloading and will only place the slabs on the A-frame parked on the roadside. The total cost of this service is $420 per trip.

As most tile companies do not have the required equipment, we recommend considering the use of this transportation service before purchasing our products.

Suggestions and opinions on translucent stone installation

Typically, LED strips are installed under the quartz stone countertop to achieve a backlighting effect. The distance between the countertop and the lights should be around 1 to 2 inches. If the distance is too close, the strip will be visible on the stone surface, and if the distance is too far, the final effect will be affected. We recommend that you communicate with a professional electrician and stone fabricator to address the details. The AVQ9980 and AVQ9970, are more suitable for use as a feature wall or decorative wall for electronic fireplaces, etc., with a thickness of 2 cm. Countertop Cleanining & Maintenance Products

For daily cleaning, quartz is easier to maintain and clean than natural stone, and it does not require much intentional maintenance. Regular cleaning with soap and water is sufficient.   Here is a YouTube link that explains in detail which cleaning products can be used to clean your quartz kitchen countertops.
