Typically, LED strips are installed under the quartz stone countertop to achieve a backlighting effect. The distance between the countertop and the lights should be around 1 to 2 inches. If the distance is too close, the strip will be visible on the stone surface, and if the distance is too far, the final effect will be affected. We recommend that you communicate with a professional electrician and stone fabricator to address the details.
The AVQ9980 and AVQ9970, are more suitable for use as a feature wall or decorative wall for electronic fireplaces, etc., with a thickness of 2 cm. Furthermore, LED light tubes can be used, making them both economical and practical, with a better lighting effect. However, gas fireplaces with high temperatures are not recommended to be processed with the Quartz product line.

You can also purchase LED light panels at Home Depot or Rona for the translucent effect, however, compared to LED strips and LED tubes, LED panels are much more expensive and the light effect may not be the best.
The stone material display in our warehouse uses the most common LED tube, which I currently consider to be the most cost-effective and best lighting product.
In General, we recommend purchasing LED lights with a brightness of at least 3000k if you require a translucent effect for stone materials. However, since this is a specialized field, we strongly advise consulting a professional lighting installer to avoid any misguidance.
