Case study

 Case Study - Mar 2023

We encountered a new situation recently in March, which is that silicone cannot be used to glue between the slab and the LED light. Otherwise, the following situation will occur. Please contact your fabricator for details, and they will provide you with a solution.

Through this case, we found that the biggest problem with silicone is that it can change light refraction. Even if the fabricator removes the slab and scrapes off the silicone, there will still be residual silicone on the slab, which will affect light refraction and result in a poor final result. Our solution is to suggest the fabricator purchase another new slab, recut and reinstall it.

Also, because our slab has good light transmission, please remember to grind off the numbers on the back of the slabs during fabrication.
